When Lauren Eckhardt was nine years old, she wrote a collection of essays called One Burning Soul — a child's attempt to speak to things that felt too big to ignore: bullying, racism, courage, kindness, and the choices that define who we become. She didn't know it then, but she was already doing the work she'd spend her life building a home for.
The name came from a vision she couldn't shake: a person trapped in a glass box, pounding on the walls, desperate to be seen and heard — while the world walked by unseeing. That image became the foundation of everything. It represented every person whose voice had been quieted, whose identity had grown blurry, whose purpose had been buried — or who had simply never been asked about their life story.

Lauren has spent her career at the intersection of story, identity, and impact. As a ghostwriter of 28 books — including USA Today bestsellers picked up by major publishers — a publisher of over ten years, and a coach who has worked with more than 500 clients, she has made one thing the center of everything she does: helping people find the meaning inside what they've lived, and then helping them do something with it.
But what defines Lauren most isn't what she's built. It's the way she sees people. She has a rare ability to listen to someone's story and find the thread running through it that the person themselves couldn't see — the pattern, the purpose, the thing their entire life has been building toward. She describes it simply: "I help people see their own story clearly for the first time. And once you can see it, everything changes."
